Tim Burton comes along and casts, what a surprise, his pet: AKA Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Depp looked so terrifying as Willie Wonka that my little cousins are scared of this new version. Yay, childhood nightmares.

Oh, and now it gets WORSE. Our gracious Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Caroll's story, is being taken to a whole new horror. Disney had it perfectly balanced, to shock and amaze children with this story. Oh, but Tim Burton, why are you further ruining my childhood stories and memories for our newer generation of young viewers? (I know this is not aimed for a child audience, but this is how Alice In Wonderland will be re- instated in our minds) AGHHH Johnny Depp is absolutely horrifying! I saw this ad on a bus stop in Manhattan, and really wanted to take it down. Does Depp know just how rediculous he looks?! Yay childhood night terrors.

Casandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13436647682182219958noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5503328512839118835.post-69598987830677408582010-02-10T19:38:00.000-08:002010-02-10T19:48:12.601-08:00So What's Oprah Up To?http://www.oprah.com/oprahshow/Oprahs-Message-About-Distracted-Driving-No-Phone-Zone-Video <=click and watch
So this commercial came on in the middle of my South Park enjoyment. I laughed alot. I really thought it was a joke when I saw Oprah's face floating on a black screen-OR I thought the commercial was going to be about woman's rights, people, disease, any tipical Oprah topic. No. It's about using your cell phone while driving. Really Oprah?? I know this is your last season on your show, but I don't want to pledge on your "No Phone Zone". I feel like I'm in middle school health class writing my name on a no smoking pledge.
I did later research online her stance, and this website showed me how serious she is: http://blogs.consumerreports.org/cars/2010/01/oprah-joins-distracted-driving-movement-.htmlCasandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13436647682182219958noreply@blogger.com0
